Aviation training

Two of the three largest US airlines reach their front line with 7taps

7taps turns a procedure change into a five-minute course and gets it to every station, gate and hangar, through the bulletins, break-room QR codes and company devices your teams already use.

Airports and ground operations
Maintenance and Tech Ops
Inflight and cabin crew
Safety, quality and contact centers

Four ways 7taps reaches an airline’s people.

A link in the bulletin

Put the course at the foot of the process-change bulletin or on the internal help page, where agents already look.

A QR code on the wall

Post it in the station break room or the hangar. Edit the course when the procedure changes and the printed code stays the same.

A message to named people

Send by Teams or email, or by text where people carry a company phone, when you need to know who finished. Reminders go out on the same channel.

A shared tablet

Run kiosk mode on a tablet in the break room or at a line-maintenance base. The session resets after each person, so the next one starts fresh.

Proof from inside aviation and outside it.

Training groups

at one of the largest US airlines
20 groups
run training through 7taps under one agreement. It began in Tech Ops and Airports. Inflight, the contact center, cargo, safety and station leadership asked to join.

Training completion

at Premium Retail Services
70% vs 8%
Outside aviation: 70% of Premium Retail Services staff finished the training 7taps delivered. 8% finished the same training assigned in their LMS.

Where airlines run it.

Airports and ground operations.

Alaska Airlines’ airport training division uses 7taps to get quick-reference guides to agents for the processes they meet rarely and cannot get wrong. The guides are linked from process-change bulletins, posted as QR codes in station break rooms, and opened on company iPads. Their team explains it in a public talk.

Maintenance and Tech Ops.

When a maintenance procedure changes, every base needs the same brief before the next shift works the aircraft. A five-minute refresher from 7taps goes to technicians by Teams or email, or sits behind a QR code in the hangar.

Inflight and cabin crew.

A new rule or service change reaches every flight attendant before their next recurrent. At one of the largest US airlines, the inflight safety team sends a short course when a safety report calls for one.

Safety, quality and contact centers.

An audit finding or a policy change goes out to everyone it applies to by a date, including contract agents outside the airline’s own systems. Where the channel carries a name, the airline sees who finished.

Time-to-Trained

A procedure change is done when every station has it.

Time-to-Trained runs from the day a procedure changes to the day everyone it applies to has provably finished the training. 7taps is built for the stretch after the course exists: getting the change delivered and finished across every station and shift.

What airline teams ask us.

Our LMS is the system of record. Does that change?

add

Your LMS keeps its records. Completions flow back by SCORM or xAPI. 7taps gets the training to the people who do not open the LMS between recurrent cycles, and reports who finished.

Personal phones are not allowed on the ramp. How do people open it?

add

On company devices, on a shared tablet in kiosk mode that resets after each person, or from a QR code posted where phones are allowed, such as a break room. Nobody needs a personal phone.

Our IT has to approve any AI tool.

add

7taps is SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001 certified, GDPR compliant, and never uses customer data to train AI models. One of the largest US airlines approved 7taps after its own security and AI review. IT can start on the security page.

Our unions will object to tracking.

add

Tracking is set course by course. A QR code or open link is anonymous by default, a named link reports by group, and email, Teams, text or learner SSO report by name. Choose the level each population and each agreement allows.

We train in many languages.

add

Translate a whole course in one action. Each language is reviewed before it goes out.

Does this cover pilot training?

add

This page covers airport, ground, maintenance, cabin, cargo, contact center and safety teams. Pilot qualification training runs under its own regulatory requirements and stays in the systems built for it.

Bring the next change that has to reach every station.

On a scoping call we list the groups it applies to, count them, and agree how each one is reached.
